Thanks to everyone who came out to see us (and buy from us!) at the San Diego Comic Con last week! We had quite a few visitors including a few familiar faces.
Captain Jack loves the tin! Torchwood actor John Barrowman enthusiastically bought several lunchboxes for his personal collection.
Mark Sheppard from Battlestar Galactica, Firefly, The Dollhouse, Leverage, Warehouse 13 and just about every other tv show worth watching over the last five years stopped by as well.
He and Doctor Who number 6 Colin Baker discussed the relative merits of metal lunchboxes!
Meanwhile, Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile director Frank Darabont (right) and pal preferred Land of the Giants to Lost in Space.
Richard Taylor from Weta Workshop keeps his tin10 lunchboxes on the same shelf as his 6 Academy Awards™, earned for The Lord of the Rings films and King Kong!
Ok, that might be an exaggeration.

Comic Con International is almost here!
We’ll be in booth #3848 with Alien Entertainment for the convention, which runs July 22-26th at the Convention Center in San Diego, California. We’ll be selling Lost in Space lunchboxes, Land of the Giants swag, and we might even have a few surprises!
Our pals at Alien Entertainment and doctorwhostore.com are bringing along Colin Baker (Doctor #6 himself!), and he’ll be signing in our booth for the duration. Here are a couple of pictures of our Land of the Giants™ wastebasket on the set of The IT Crowd. These are photos that the set dresser sent me in October but asked us to keep under wraps until the first of the year.
He couldn’t find a photo of the lunchbox on the set, but told us that he and series creator/writer/director Graham Linehan spend some time discussing it on a video walk-through that will be an extra on the DVD set due out in April.

The IT Crowd airs on Friday nights in the UK on Channel 4, and on IFC here in the U.S. at 11 pm on Tuesdays.

The IT Crowd airs Fridays on Channel 4 in England, and at 10 pm on Tuesday nights in America on The Independent Film Channel.

Exciting news! Our Land of the Giants™ lunchbox and wastebasket will be featured on Channel 4’s The IT Crowd in Season 3, which just finished shooting in London. New episodes of the series begin on Friday 21st November at 10pm on Channel 4 in England. I’ll post photos on January 1st, as the producers have asked us to keep them under wraps until then. If you’re a British fan and can grab some screen caps for us when the episodes air, we’d appreciate it!
The IT Crowd airs in the U.S. on The Independent Film Channel Tuesdays at 10:pm EST.
